FAQ
Answers to common questions about signing in, modules, academic years, enrollment, the timetable, and more.

Access & accounts
I can't sign in or I forgot my password
Use the password-reset option on the sign-in screen. If that doesn't help, an administrator can sort out your account. See Access & authentication.
Why can I see less than a colleague?
What you see depends on your role — administrators see the whole school, while teachers, students, and parents see their own work or child. Some areas are also optional modules (below).
Modules & visibility
Why don't I see Transport / Behaviour / Expenses / Equipment / Leave / Staff attendance?
These are optional modules. When a module is off for your school, its pages don't appear. Ask whoever manages your school's modules to turn the one you need on.
Where did a feature go?
If something disappeared, its module may have been turned off, or you may have switched to a different academic year that isn't set up the same way.
Academic year & language
How do I change the academic year?
Use the year switcher at the top of the screen. Most figures and lists follow the selected year.
Only one year can be active — why?
Enrollments and billing happen in the active year, and only one is active at a time. You can still build a draft year alongside it. See Clone an academic year.
How do I change the language?
Pick your language from the language selector. Arabic is shown right-to-left throughout.
Students & enrollment
What's the difference between a pre-inscription and an enrollment?
A pre-inscription records an intended level for a year; an enrollment places the student in a specific class and starts billing. See Pre-inscriptions.
It says the student already has an active enrollment
A student can have only one active enrollment per academic year. Withdraw or transfer the existing one first. See Suspend or withdraw an enrollment.
I cloned a year, but students and some settings are missing
That's expected — cloning copies the setup, not the people or records. Enrollments, transport zones, and student stop assignments are set up fresh. See Clone an academic year.
Timetable
The timetable won't generate, or says resources aren't enough
The generator needs enough rooms, teachers, and time to place every lesson. Check the prerequisites and make sure your resources can cover the load. See Timetable prerequisites.
Teaching
A teacher can't see or edit a class's lessons
Lesson content is gated by teaching assignment — a teacher edits lessons for the classes and subjects they're assigned to teach. See Lessons.
Where do I take attendance?
Take attendance from a class session on the timetable (open the session → Mark attendance), or on the dedicated Student Attendance page (by day or by session). The Activity Journal logs what was taught — it doesn't take attendance. See Class sessions & attendance.
Behaviour
Who can see a student's behaviour points?
Students and parents see only their own standing. The school-wide leaderboard is for staff. See Points & leaderboard.
Communication
Announcement or event — which should I use?
An announcement is a message to an audience; an event is something on the calendar (and some event kinds close the school). See Announcements and Events.
