Points & leaderboard
See how behaviour points add up, and how the class leaderboard ranks and motivates students.
Every incident carries points — positive incidents add, negative ones subtract — and they roll up into each student's net points. The leaderboard turns this into friendly recognition, ranking students over a period you choose.
Who this is for
Administrators and teachers reading the leaderboard, and students and parents following their own.
How points add up
- A positive incident adds its points; a negative one subtracts.
- A student's net points is the total over a period.
- Points are counted per period — a week, a month, a term, or the whole year.
The leaderboard (staff view)
Open Behaviour → Leaderboard to rank students by net points. You can:
- choose the period — week, month, term, or year,
- filter by class and/or level,
- see each student's rank, net points, and how many positive and negative incidents they had.
Use it to celebrate top students, or to spot who might need a little support.
What students and parents see
Students — and their parents, for their own children — get a motivating view of their own standing:
- Class podium — the top three in their class for the current period.
- Achievements — how many times they've finished 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in past periods.
- Points over time — a chart of their net points, period by period.
- Their incidents — a read-only list of their own behaviour records.
Privacy
Students and parents only see their own incidents and their class ranking. They don't see other students' incident details, such as descriptions or locations — those are for staff only.
