Billing configuration
Control when billing cycles start and when charges are applied.
Billing configuration sets the rules behind how a student's fees turn into installments — when each billing cycle begins and when charges are applied. It is set once and affects how schedules are generated from then on.
Who this is for
Administrators — only administrators can change billing configuration.
Settings
Go to Settings → Finance and open the Billing tab to set the options below.
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Cycle anchor | What each billing cycle is aligned to — for example the start of the month. |
| Custom anchor day | When the cycle anchor is set to a custom day, the specific day of the month it falls on. |
| Charge timing | When a cycle's charge is applied — for example at the start or the end of the cycle. |
Adjust the settings, then click Save.
Set this before generating fees
Billing configuration shapes how installments are generated. Set it before creating payment plans and enrolling students so every schedule follows the same rules.
