Create an enrollment
Place a student on a level for the academic year — optionally assign a track, class, and payment plan.
An enrollment places a student in an academic year at a level (and track when the level offers one). A class and payment plan are optional at create time — you can assign them later from the Enrollments hub.
Who this is for
Administrators placing students for the year.
Level, track, and education level
Enrollment uses Level (e.g. Grade 9), and Track only when that level offers tracks (filières). Education level (the broader cycle) is set on the level itself in academic structure — it is not a field on the enrollment form.
Before you start
- The student record must exist — see Add students.
- The level (and any tracks) must be set up for the year.
- Optional: a class and a payment plan for that level.
How enrollment is created today
There is no separate Add Enrollment button on the Enrollments page. In the admin UI, enrollments are created from Applications (pre-inscriptions), then managed on Enrollments.
Open Applications
Go to Admissions & Enrollment → Applications, stay on the Direct / Admin tab (pre-inscriptions).
Select pending rows and Enroll
Select one or more Pending pre-inscriptions of the same level, then choose Enroll.
Confirm placement
| Field | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Level | Yes | Locked to the pre-inscription's level. |
| Track | When the level offers tracks | Must match the pre-inscription's track when one was set. |
| Class | No | Assign now or later from Enrollments. |
| Payment plan | No | Assign now or later; drives fees when attached. |
| Enrollment date | No | Can default to today. |
| Notes | No | Optional. |
Finish on the Enrollments hub
Go to Admissions & Enrollment → Enrollments to review the list. Use Assign Class or Assign Plan in bulk when students were enrolled without a class or plan.
One active placement per year
A student has one active enrollment placement for the year. To change class or level later, use Change class rather than creating a second enrollment.
