Set regional preferences
Choose the timezone, currency, and date and time formats your school uses.
Regional preferences make the platform match how your school works locally — the timezone dates and times are shown in, the currency money is displayed in, and the formats used for dates and times. Set them early so everything reads correctly from the start.
Who this is for
Administrators — only administrators can change regional settings.
Steps
Open the Regional settings
Go to Settings → School and open the Regional tab.
Set the timezone
Choose your school's timezone. All dates and times across the platform are shown in this zone.
Set the currency
Enter the currency code — the three-letter code for your currency (for example
USD, EUR, MAD). Fees, payments, and expenses are displayed in this currency.
Set the date and time formats
Choose the date format and time format to use across the platform. A live preview shows how dates and times will look as you change them.
Save your changes
Click Save. The new preferences apply across the platform.

Set regional preferences before creating academic years and fees — it keeps every date and amount consistent from day one.
