Create services
Define the billable services your school provides, such as tuition, transport, or meals.
A service is something the school provides that can be charged for — Tuition, Transport, Meals, and so on. Services are the foundation of finance: fees are priced per service.
Who this is for
Administrators setting up what the school bills for.
Before you start
- An academic year must be selected — each service belongs to that year.
Steps
Open the Services page
Go to Finance → Services, then click Add Service.
Fill in the service details
Complete the fields below, then click Create Service.

Repeat for every service
Add each service the school charges for. They become available when you set up fees.
What comes next
A service has no price on its own. Give it an amount per level by setting up fees.
