Understand the main school workflows

How the platform's main workflows connect, from setup to daily operation.

The platform follows a natural order: you set the school up, build its structure, bring in people, and then run it day to day. Each step depends on the ones before it.

Setup workflows

These happen once, at the start.

First-time setup

Create the school account, fill in the school profile, choose modules, and set regional preferences. See First-Time School Setup.

Build the academic foundation

Create the academic year and terms, then levels, classes, subjects, and rooms. See Build the Academic Foundation.

Onboard people and enroll students

Add students, teachers, guardians, and staff, give them portal accounts, then enroll students into classes. See Onboard People and Enroll Students.

Daily operations

Once the school is set up, the recurring work begins — teaching, attendance, behaviour, finance, and communication. The timetable schedules lessons, attendance is recorded against classes, fees are collected against enrollments, and announcements keep families informed.

How it connects

Each layer builds on the last: classes need levels; enrollments need classes and students; fees need payment plans; the timetable needs subjects, rooms, and teachers. Following the order above keeps every later step unblocked.
